Welcome back, you early birds and night owls alike! Oh, the absolute bliss of taking a weekend off from social media for work.
You see any of my posts over the weekend? A big high five to you, my trusty friend, loyal follower, or dear ex-colleague! And let's not forget to take a moment to applaud the wonders of scheduled posting. Truly a technological marvel! 👏
Just last Friday, I mentioned a little project I've been working on - a system to organize my content. Or, to put it plainly, my chaotic pool of thoughts. Who knew that when you start monetizing your intellect, your thoughts transform into an entangled maze that begs for organization?
Being a systems enthusiast (more on that later), I dipped my toes into every organizational tool out there. GoogleDoc spreadsheets acting as calendars, date-named folders packed to the brim with content for various platforms. Soon, it felt like I was drowning in a swamp of dates, losing track of what I'd written about.
Did I let you in on my AI fixation? I found myself constantly writing about AI (a subject I truly adore) and the benefits of remote work. As crucial as these topics are, there's a vast virtual universe brimming with myriad subjects.
If you remember my #TuesdayConfessions (prepare yourselves for tomorrow's major reveal - it involves me currently hemorrhaging money 😅), and my #FunFridays - a little tradition from my corporate days where I'd sprinkle a dash of humor and a dollop of wisdom into my colleagues' inboxes. I thought, why not revive these traditions on social media?
This inspired a new idea – assigning themes to each day of the week. A foolproof method to diversify my content, maintain structure, simplify my creative process, and give you a heads-up on what to expect!
And that brings us to today - MasterPlan Mondays! My trusty AI companion, Mark (yup, that's what I named my ChatGPT), suggested Motivational Mondays, offering uplifting stories or quotes to kickstart your week. But, let's face it, we're already on motivation overload!
On MasterPlan Mondays, I'll bare my week's blueprint, and you're invited to join in. I'll shed light on my strategies, my triumphs and missteps, and how I maintain momentum despite my oscillating motivation levels (watch this space for more!).
I must admit, there are days when my energy levels aren't at their peak. But here's the thing about motivation - I'm not its biggest fan. Inspiration, on the other hand, has my vote. After all, we have just one life to live! If that doesn't stir you into action, what will?
So, here's a sneak peek into my weekly masterplan:
